What is door & direction signs?

Offices, clinics, schools and shared buildings always need small signs: a name for the meeting room, an arrow to the toilets, a note that the stockroom is staff only. The door plate layout sets a large room name beside a colored accent bar, with a smaller second line underneath for a room number or “please knock”. The direction layout fills the page with color and adds a bold arrow pointing left, right, up or down, with the text alongside so it reads from the far end of a corridor.

Door & direction signs: frequently asked questions

Can I change which way the arrow points?

Yes. Choose left, right, up or down under Arrow, or None to hide it. An up arrow usually means straight ahead.

Can I use these as emergency exit signs?

No. They work well for everyday wayfinding, but fire and emergency exit signs usually have to meet local safety standards and are often illuminated. Use certified signs for escape routes.

How do I make a door sign last longer?

Print on thick paper or card, then laminate it or slide it into a clear sign holder. A5 suits most doors; A4 is easier to read down a corridor.
