What is reward chart?

Reward charts help children build routines by making progress visible. Each row is a task, such as brushing teeth or tidying toys, and each day has a star to colour in or cover with a sticker when the task is done. Agree on a small reward for a full row or a full week. The same layout works as a chore chart for the whole family, with one row per job.

What reward chart is used for

  • Morning and bedtime routines
  • Potty training and good behavior charts
  • Family chore charts
  • Reading and music practice trackers
